Inverness man makes no plea to assault with blade charge

A 32-year-old man has appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court accused of assaulting his partner to her severe injury with a blade.

Samuel Urquhart, from Inverness, was also charged with threatening or abusive behaviour and malicious mischief.

He made no plea, was committed for further examination and released on bail.
